SATURDAY AT THE INDIAN FLEA MARKET

Here are some pictures of a mother goose and her gander. For weeks in cold early spring weather she sat on her nest of eggs. . . on a tiny island in the middle of the Wal-Mart parking lot while the gander keep guard a ways off.

 
Well, it's been 9 months - halfway. Do you think it might be time to blog something? Here we are just entering the MTC 7-11-11.

                           Our district is all ready to head off to far flung areas of the world.

Our first "home" in Canada. The Finnigan's house in Caledon, where we stayed for 3 weeks until we were able to get into our apartment in Brampton. The countryside out here is beautiful although the trek into the city every day took a lot of time and gas.

Update

Stucco is done

Wallls primed and beadboard going up. A dreadful job.

Present state of the kitchen floor. Fortunately this is all we had to excavate to remove dry rot. At present we have no stove and no water on the main floor, except for the washer. Can we turn the washer on gentle to wash the dishes?

Looks like a jailbreak to me! Ancient wall makes room for new doorway.
